We recognize and respect the importance of maintaining the privacy of our users and have established a privacy policy, describe why we gather certain information, what information we collect, how we collect it, what we use the information for, and how you can "opt out" of the use of certain information. We encourage you to carefully read our Privacy Policy ("Policy"), below.
PRIVACY POLICY — REGISTRATION AND USE OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT
In order to post predictions to and to access and use all of the features of the iPredikt Site, you will be required to register for an account, and to log in. As part of the registration process you will be asked to provide certain contact information, information about yourself, and to provide a username and password which you may use to log in to access and use certain features of the iPredikt Site, and we may use to identify you and to associate your postings and activity with you. We call all this information "Account Information."
You agree that your Account Information will always be complete, accurate and up-to-date. You shall not provide any false information in connection with the use of the iPredikt Site. Also, you agree to update or correct any information which you have provided if such information becomes outdated or misleading. It is your responsibility to keep your Account Information confidential at all times. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs on the iPredikt Site when someone is logged in under your password and/or username. If you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account or Account Information, or any other breach of security, you agree to notify us immediately. You may not use another person's Account Information. We may require that you change your Account Information or certain parts of your Account Information at any time for any reason.
You must be at least 13 years of age to register. If you are under 13, your parent or legal guardian must register for you. See the Childrens' Online Privacy Protection Act Direct Notice to Parents, below. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you must have your legal guardian's permission to use or post on this website.
We may use the Account Information you give us and your IP address to better tailor your website experience to your interests, to request your opinions, and we may also use it to send you information about iPredikt and its services.
In addition, we may share your Account Information (except your password) and your IP address with search-related service providers, advertisers or other third parties that are not part of iPredikt. When this occurs, we will share this information on an aggregate or other basis that does not disclose your personal identity or contact information.
We also may log and use your IP address to administer our site, to help diagnose problems with our servers, to analyze trends, to track users' webpage movements, to help identify you, and to gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.
We may use standard tools, such as "cookies" (which may be html files or other technology), web beacons, or similar technologies (collectively referred to as "Tracking Tools") to help tailor our content, allow users to move between associated websites without logging into each site, and other purposes related to our management of iPredikt.com. Cookies are small text files stored locally on your machine that help store user preferences. "Web beacons" or "clear gifs" are small pieces of code placed on websites used to collect advertising metrics, such as counting page views, promotion views, or advertising responses. By agreeing to this Privacy Policy, you are consenting to the use of Tracking Tools as set forth in this Policy.
We may use Tracking Tools to monitor site and Internet usage and to improve or customize the content, offerings or advertisements on iPredikt. For example, our site may use cookies to save and remember registration information or preferences that you may have set while browsing the site, to ensure you don't see the same ad content repeatedly, to deliver content specific to your interests, and to save your password so you don't have to re-enter it each time you visit our site. We use cookies only to gather information as indicated in this policy.
We also may use cookies to help us offer you products, programs, or services that may be of interest to you and to deliver relevant advertising.
In addition, on occasion our site may also set a "session cookie" which helps us administer the site. The session cookie expires when you close your browser and does not retain any information about you after it expires.
In many internet browsers, you can choose to delete, disable, turn off or reject most Tracking Tools through the "Internet Options" sub-option of the "Tools" menu option of your browser or otherwise as directed by your browser's support feature. We may additionally use a variety of third party advertising networks, data exchanges, traffic measurement service providers, marketing analytics service providers and other third parties (collectively, "Third Party Providers") to, for example, serve advertisements on the iPredikt Site, facilitate targeting of advertisements and/or measure and analyze advertising effectiveness and/or traffic on the iPredikt Site ("Targeting Services"). These Third Party Providers may enable us to display advertisements based on your visits to the iPredikt Site and other websites you have visited. Targeting Services enable us to, among other things, help deliver advertisements or other content to you for products and services that you might be interested in, to prevent you from seeing the same advertisements too many times and to conduct research regarding the usefulness of certain advertisements to you.
Third Party Providers do not have access to Tracking Tools set by iPredikt, but the Third Party Providers, as well as advertisers, may themselves set and access their own Tracking Tools and/or they may otherwise have access to information about you.
You should be aware that different rules might apply to the collection, use or disclosure of your information by third parties in connection with their advertisements, promotions and other websites you encounter on the Internet. The use of such technology by these third parties is within their control and not ours. Even if we have a relationship with the third party, we do not control those sites or their policies and practices regarding your information. This Privacy Policy does not cover any use of information that Third Providers or advertiser may collect from you. You should investigate and ask questions directly of them in this regard. Use of a third party's Tracking Tools is subject to their own privacy policies.
If you do not want the benefits of these advertising cookies, you may opt-out by visiting http://www.networkadvertising.org/optout_nonppii.asp. However, if you do so you may not receive the full benefit from the use of our site.
Our web servers may collect "log data." Log data provides aggregate information about the number of visits to different pages on our site. We use such aggregate log data to improve access to our content based on our vistors' browsers and operating system types to make our content available to as many users as possible. We do not link the "log data" collected to personally identifiable information submitted by users when participating in our activities. Third Party Providers may also collect aggregate log data independently from iPredikt.
CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS
Beginning on January 1, 2005, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits our visitors who are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. CHILDRENS' ON-LINE PRIVACY PROTECTION ACT (COPPA)
DIRECT NOTICE TO PARENTS
The iPredikt Site is not specifically targeted or geared to children under 13, but we recognize that some children under 13 may access and use it. This COPPA Direct Notice to Parents ("COPPA Notice") gives parents additional information on the Site's practices in collecting and using personal information from children under 13 years of age.

What information does the Site collect and use?
We collect personally identifiable Account Information directly from a parent or legal guardian who registers for and on behalf of a child, allowing the child to become a user of the Site. The types of personally identifiable information that may be collected at that time include the parent/guardian's full name, parent/guardian's residence address, parent/guardian's email address, relationship to the child (and certification of the accuracy of that information), child's name, child's email address, child's gender, child's age, and child's street address. The Site does not condition a child's participation in an online activity on the child providing more personal information than is reasonably necessary for that activity. Other information from a registered child user of the iPredikt Site, may be collected in connection with his/her use of the Site, as set forth above in the Privacy Policy.
How does the Site collect this information?
Parents/legal guardians submit personally identifiable Account Information about a registered child user during the registration process. iPredikt may also collect information from a registered child user of the iPredikt Site, in connection with his/her use of the Site, as set forth above in the Privacy Policy.
How will the Site use this information?
The Site uses the personally identifiable Account Information only as set forth in the Privacy Policy, above.
Does the Site share this information with any third parties?
The Site may share personally identifiable Account Information only as set forth in the Privacy Policy, above. Whenever Account Information is shared with any third parties, it will be shared on an aggregate or other basis that does not disclose the user's personal identity or contact information.
How does the Site get consent from parents for the collection of personal information?
To create an account on the iPredikt website for a child under 13, a parent must complete the registration process for his or her child. To create a membership account for the child on the Site the parent must, among other requirements, (a) provide information about the parent and his/her child as prompted by our registration processes, (b) agree to the Terms of Use, and (c) review and consent to the Site's practices in collecting and using personal information from children under 13 years of age as specified in this COPPA Notice and Privacy Policy ("COPPA Consent") (A parent's affirmative COPPA Consent during the registration process means that such parent consents to the collection, use and disclosure of the personally identifiable information of his or her child in accordance with the Privacy Policy and has reviewed this COPPA Notice.
Can a parent review, change or delete the information collected by the Site about his or her child?
A parent/guardian may at any time review or change the information collected by the Site about his or her child by accessing the registered child user's Account Information, or by contacting the Site. A parent can also refuse to permit the Site to collect any further personal information and can request that the Site delete any information already collected.
